Do you ever have a plan for your day and all of a sudden, it’s 5.00pm and you have achieved literally nothing?

You finish your day all tired and stressed, those important things you said you needed to get done first, are still sitting on the list unchecked and you have been battered from pillar to post with constant interruptions and distractions all day. And worst of all, you know you will still struggle to try and get them done tomorrow.

Even though you have followed all of the expert’s advice and prepared and prioritised your To Do List, you still struggle to get things done.

That’s because, a To Do List will not get control of your day and without some crucial people skills, is for all intensive purposes, a waste of time.

How would you feel, if you knew that tomorrow, you could reduce the amount of interruptions you get during the day, and you knew that you could spend uninterrupted time, actually focusing on that number one item on your list, not putting it off to later and doing some of the easier things first and finally getting it completed.

  • What would your day be like if you could complete everything on your To Do List and more?
  • Where would your business be, if you were able to create your action plans and complete them on time?

The Time Retriever Productivity Coaching Program will provide you with the knowledge and help you build the skills to achieve exactly this.

From Field Technician to Manager

When I went from being an office equipment technician in the field to managing field service teams, I found trying to get back the control I had in my day was a struggle. I was used to being able to look at my service calls and plan the sequence I would do them in and then get on with my day.

However, when I started managing people and creating plans to improve the service we provided, I found that I was constantly interrupted by just about everyone.

I had some basic time management skills and would always create my To Do List each day, but because something was difficult to do, or it might take some time to do, or I didn’t like doing it, I would put them off and get the quick and easy things done, thinking, once they were done, I would have the time to get those more important activities done.

The problem here was, that as the day went on, the interruptions and the addition of new “important things” that had to be done urgently, meant the items on the top of my list that I had already put off, by the end of the day, simply weren’t done. And I was even further behind.

If I was to be successful at my role, things had to change. I attended time management workshops but they only provided a small part of the solution. Each time I would get back to my office with my new plan and intentions, I would still struggle to make my plan work.

I was frustrated and looked at why this still happened.

I found that there was more to time management and getting control of my day than just having a plan and planning my weeks and each day. I have to develop the skills needed to stop the constant interruptions to my day, I needed to develop skills to stop me from getting distracted and I needed to understand how to stop myself from procrastinating and putting things off.

As I developed knowledge and new skills in each of these people skills areas, I found that I had more time on my hands and started to get control of my days. Not every day is perfect, but the more days I implement these skills, the more successful days I have.

Time is the number one problem of business owners!

Over the past thirteen years, I have coached over 162 small to medium sized businesses and the number one problem I found that 99.9% of business owners have, is time management, they struggle to have control of their day and to get the important things done. They want to grow their business, but just don’t have the time to do what is needed. Mostly, they know what to do, but just don’t have the time. I think you know what I mean.

That’s why I have developed The Time Retriever Productivity Coaching Program. It took me years to find and develop the knowledge and skills I needed to get control of my day, and I have now packaged it into a 12 month coaching program.

What will you do with the extra hours in your day?

Can you imagine what it will be like when you have more free time to spend with your family and friends,to reduce your stress levels by ensuring the things you don’t like doing, or, those important but difficult things are done and out of the way.

What will it be like when you are able to stay focused on an activity until it is finished, by being able to reduce the amount of time you procrastinate on doing things and by significantly reducing the amount of interruptions in your day, resulting in projects being completed on time?

The 4 Inescapable Components Of Controlling Your Day

The Time Retriever coaching program has been developed around the 4 Inescapable Components of Getting Control Of Your Day.

  1. Planning
  2. Time Management
  3. Self-discipline
  4. People Management Skills
This Productivity Coaching Program is the first of its kind.

I have spent years developing my productivity skills to enable me to get control of my day. As I started to notice that the biggest issues for virtually all business owners I spoke to, was being able to get control of their time and get everything they needed to do done, I took the time to review what I had done over many years to achieve this.

What I noticed was, that not one of the time management courses I had done, enabled me to get control of my day. They only taught you how to do the planning process of setting goals, creating action plans and planning your week and days. They did nothing to help you with the self-discipline and people management skills.  This meant, that whilst you had this great plan for your day and good intentions to achieve the plan, you were at the mercy of constant interruptions, distractions and putting of doing things.

In the Time Retriever Productivity Coaching Program, we will work with you through each of the 4 Inescapable Components, helping you to develop the key knowledge and skills in each component

1. Planning
    1.  Learn how to determine why you do what you do.
    2. Create a clear Vision of what you intend to achieve.
    3. Set specific goals to achieve your vision.
    4. Determine the goals you need to achieve over the next 12 months.
    5. Break your goals down into a quarterly action plan, clarifying what you will achieve over the next 3 months and specifying the activities you will complete each week to achieve these goals.
2. Time Management
  1. Learn how to plan your week using a default planning process, so you will feel in control of your week.
  2. Learn how to plan your day, determining what you will accomplish each day and learning the best method of prioritising your plan.
  3.  Learn and understand Brian Tracy’s concept of Eat That Frog
3. Self-Discipline
    1.  Learn why you procrastinate and develop the skills needed to halt it.
    2. Reduce distractions, by creating a methodology around your day to help keep you focused on getting things done.
4. People Management Skills
    1. Stop being the Zoo Keeper – Learn how to reduce the interruptions in your day by developing other people’s abilities in solving their own problems and sourcing information themselves, saving hours in your day.
    2. Learn how to communicate with people based on their learning modalities and behavioural styles, ensuring you are able to get the message across the first time, again saving hours in your day.
    3. Learn several new buiness leadership skills that are important when working with a team.

This program is delivered in a two part process, the first being our 3 part self paced online Ultimate Time Management Coaching Program. (one for business owners and one for childcare centre owners and directors) where we step through each of the 4 Inescapable components, providing you with the knowledge and starting the skill development in each of these components.

The second part is the 12 monthly group coaching sessions, where we continue the knowledge and skills development and help you to create the new habits required to change how you manage your day.

Changing your time management habits is one of the most difficult things for people to do. You have developed your habits over several years and decades and now need to stop the old ones and start creating the new ones. And it’s not that easy. However, if you want to change your current situation, you have to do it.

That is why we have the ongoing coaching program, to help you keep accountable for making the change.

P.S. Whenever you are ready, there are 3 ways we can help you;
